Does your corporate structure limit innovation?

Are your intrapreneurs1 hindered in pursuing new ideas?

Can licensing opportunities provide growth for your firm?

If you can answer ‘yes’ to any of these questions, our Corporate-preneur program can support innovative growth within your company.
The Corporate-preneur program is designed to support larger firms by assisting in the introduction of innovative technologies that can provide a competitive advantage. This is accomplished in two ways.
First, cost-effectively isolating the innovative process. As a participant in this program your firm can place intrapreneurs as tenants at the i3facility. The idea of providing freedom and independence to cultivate, nurture, and commercialize the innovative ideas of corporate intrapreneurs has been successfully used by many cutting-edge companies such as Apple2 and Continental Airlines3.

Second, is through our “licensing collaborative”. Your firm is listed with i3 , for internal purposes only, as seeking licensing opportunities. On the occasion one of our incubator clients is appropriately positioned to seek licensing partners, your company will be among the first to be informed of the opportunity.

[1] Intrapreneur –def. (noun): an employee of a large corporation who is given freedom and financial support to create new products, services, systems, etc., and does not have to follow the corporation's usual routines or protocols.
[2] As illustrated through the isolation of the Macintosh division, as told by Guy Kawasaki in “The Art of the Start”.
[3] In the early 80's Continental Airlines created a spinoff group of 5 software engineers. Un-mired by the weight of the corporate bureaucracy they developed the best flight dispatch and control system in the industry in less than 2 1/2 years.
