Computer Skills
CAD and CNC Programming This program provides hands-on training in computer-aided drafting design software. Participants will work in a modern fully equipped computer-aided drafting lab with up-to-date software linked to a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining center and lathe. Topics include an overview of CAD and CNC programming fundamentals, construction of 2D geometry, tool path generation and editing.
Office Automation ADVANCED or BEGINNING CLASSES provide a SELECTION of five of the following: Windows NT, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Goldmine, or Web Development. Classes are customized as they are formed. Managers can ask for their employees to be in a class that emphasizes Access and MS Project, as an example, which is ideal for project managers, teams and others working with budgets or making presentations.

Customer Service Skills This dynamic class provides strategies to build rapport and loyalty with customers. Communication skills advance trainees' capabilities to get the message across in a positive way. Increase the number of satisfied customers by meeting the customers' expectations. Trainees learn how to initiate and close the customer interaction successfully. Manufacturing Skills
CNC Machining and Milling Cutting Tools This practical, hands-on class includes sixty hours of instruction in CNC Machining. Students will work on a CNC vertical machining center and a CNC lathe. Previous exposure to machine shop practice, blueprint reading, shop math and the ability to read plant documents will greatly increase the course benefits. Topics include shop safety, overview of machining center, feeds and speeds, cutting tool materials, planning the part, tool selection, basic milling principles, tooling offset, canned cycles, carbide grade selection, set up, cutting fluids, and an overview of programming fundamentals (G and M codes).
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing This intensive course provides in-depth coverage of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing concepts and applications. Topics include units of measurement, types of dimensioning, direct tolerancing principles, reading single view drawings, orthographic projections of plane, tolerances of form, profile, orientation and run out, symbology and geometric characteristic symbols. This class is ideally conducted at your company location using your prints if you have 15 or more employees to train.
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing With Shop Trig This course provides in-depth training on GD&T concepts and applications, along with applied trigonometry. Each participant will receive a TI Scientific Calculator and instructions on its use to solve shop problems. The course also provides coverage of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing concepts and applications. Topics including units of measurement types of dimensioning, direct tolerancing principles, reading single view drawings, orthographic projections of plane, tolerances of form, profile, orientation and run out, Symbology and geometric characteristic symbols. This class is ideally conducted at your company location using your prints and shop applications if you have 15 or more employees to train.
HazMat Training Introduction of environmental management, chemistry and toxicology and an overview of federal, state and local regulations will be the topics of Part 1 of this course. Part 2 will consist of hazardous material and hazardous waste management including waste minimization and future trends. Workplace safety, environmental liability and risk management will be topics covered.
Inspection Techniques Precision Measurement This class is specifically designed to improve production level technicians' abilities to inspect parts against production tolerances, improving your company's ability to compete in today's quality-driven economy. Learn to identify parts that will pass Inspection. Specific topics include tolerances and allowances, mechanical measurement, understanding and using precision measuring instruments, and introduction to computer numerical control coordinate measurement machines (CMM). This class is ideally conducted at your company location using your prints and measurement devices if you have 15 or more employees to train.
